THINGS WE LOVE IN RETAIL THIS MONTH

Hats off to the retailers that invest in their team with
education.

It’s tough times recruitment and retention-wise. A recent
survey done in the US showed that 2 in 5 retail employees plan
to leave the sector with 69% saying they have not attended any
training programs in the last 2 years.

Locally, the beauty retailer Mecca is known to have invested
4% of annual turnover on education and engagement.

We know there’s a clear link between educated, engaged team members and strong sales results so investing in learning and development is never wasted.
