March 2024 NEWSLETTER
WHAT ARE YOU FAMOUS FOR?
I love to shop. Finding new shops in new places is a constant in my life and I’m continually fascinated by the experiences retailers create.
We go to Byron as often as we can, it’s a beautiful place to my family in many ways.
During our recent visit I discovered Trinkets.
It’s a tiny, simple bead shop but it was constantly busy.
Like rammed. Not just with Swifties but with people of all ages and stages creating their special pieces.
We went twice, couldn’t get enough.
Then spent hours creating our beads. The girls told us how to do various things and their Instagram is filled with tutorials and inspiration.
Results-wise I get that average sale is likely to be low but traffic, conversion and repeat business must be high.
And that’s because they are quite simply doing something exceptional.
They’re creating experiences and connections.
It’s the sort of retail that lights me up.
Prompts the question: Are you clear on what you want to be famous for?
Do you have a clear vision for your customer’s experience that’s not just a growth target but articulated as a set of behaviours your team can be rewarded for or coached on?
We’re very good at helping you clarify this so if you’d like to explore contact us here.
