SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER
As we clean the virtual blackboard and put the virtual chairs up on the virtual desks for the final time this year, it’s a moment to reflect on 2021 at the School of Retail.
In Melbourne, we might have spent 108 days locked down but the energising words of Freddy Mercury ‘Don’t stop me now’ kept us fired up.
400 students participated in our online programs.
Exciting to know they are out in their stores at what is surely the most wonderful time of the year in retail, with sharpened skills and renewed will so they can truly make all their customers happy.
Our mystery shopping services helped clients know if their customers were really having that great experience we all covet.
For now some festive time with our loved ones watching them open the gifts we have enjoyed buying from the retail industry we adore.
As we rest and prepare for our February intake and a year of helping retailers be the absolute best they can be, we will continue to be inspired by those that do it well, the ones that take us on a sensory experience like no other.
We see the Christmas lights outside Cartier on Collins St We hear Michael Buble playing in JB HiFi
We smell mulled wine spice in Gewurzhaus
We taste the Organic Turkey form Hagens
And we feel the indescribable joy of helping people shop for what they need.
Happy Holidays!
School’s out for summer.
